With over 800 years of history, the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella was founded in Florence in 1221, when the Dominican friars established the convent of the same name. From the garden they lovingly tended, a centuries-old tradition was born in the creation of cosmetics, medicines, fragrances, and body care products.
