Balenciaga
In 1937, legendary couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga opened his first Parisian couture house at 10 Avenue George V. Cristóbal passed away in 1972, but his legacy and firmly established design codes continue to shape the house as we know it today. Since 2015, the creative director has been Demna, who merges couture craftsmanship with radical experimentation. Each season, the Maison continues to reinterpret everyday clothing through a provocative and subversive lens.
