Carel Paris
In 1952 Georges and Rosa Carel, shoe and leather goods makers, opened their first women's shoe store on Boulevard Saint-Michel. Son of a shoemaker, women's foot was no longer a secret for Mr. Carel. He developed comfortable and elegant shoes that accompanied women from early morning to late evening. In the 1970s, Carel Paris armed women fighting for sexual emancipation with tall, narrow boots, and today, under the leadership of Piquard, it accompanies them in their ecological efforts, with iconic Parisian-style footwear made with respect for the environment.
